Who is your style icon?

I love me some Kate Moss, Jimi Hendrix, Faye Dunaway in NETWORK.. Jane Birkin, Diana Ross.. so much inspiration it is truly hard to pick.

What inspired you to start Botanica Bazaar?

I loved the community that was building around clean living and all that statement entails and wanted to put myself in the middle of it.

What's the best thing about being an entrepreneur?

Making my own hours of course, but really I love being in a space that requires me to grow constantly and that challenges me enough, that I have to trust my gut. Being able to create a vision and then go after creating it with like minded people is such a gift.

What advice would you give to women who want to reinvent?

I would say being an entrepreneur is great, but it is important to know how to delegate and not try to do it all. It is necessary to oversee everything, and know the in's and out's of your business, so you are not blind to any area, but play to your strengths, and learn to hire up. Meaning work smarter not harder.

What would you tell your younger self?

To trust more and not work so hard..in far I would give her the same advice I gave above, Work smarter...

Who inspires you and why?

I am inspired by those that have the strength and desire to follow their vision, to create something from nothing, whether that is a sand castle, art, a company, a new protocol..etc. We all have something unique to offer the world and it is important we take that journey and play as you go.

What makes you feel like your most authentic self?

Slowing down, it is a new concept I am trying to embrace as my company is growing around me, I do not enjoy being burned out and luckily I have to practice what I preach in regards to health. As I slow down I connect more deeply to life and people around me including myself.

What is your daily beauty routine?

Wash my face at night with a light exfoliator and then put on a night treatment, either a light acid peel or malasma corrector with a moisturizer. I will do a more extensive mask a couple times a week, for either regeneration or deep hydration. For Day I rinse with water and apply a serum and then do some Face Rolling with a Rose Quartz roller to settle any puffiness.

What do you like about Best Skin Days?

The deep Hydration with the SPF as well as the light glow!

What is your favorite self-care/recharge ritual?

A nap

How does your life story inform your creative process?

I think my creative process is my life story..it is still being written..
